Requisition Number: 96897 *Looking for positions all over the Untied States* Position Overview The Installation Technician has a customer:facing role with primary duties of deploying 12:volt technology solutions in fleet vehicles. What you'll do at Insight typedisc:: These technicians will be deploying 12:volt technology solutions in fleet vehicles. : They will also go through training for proper installation and use of our client's hardware and software. : Provide your own tools EG: (wrenches, sockets, wire cutters/strippers, portable soldering iron, portable drill, etc.): Demonstrate competence in troubleshooting which includes use of tools such as a multimeter: Be comfortable working with vehicle electrical systems and know the basics of working safely around 12:volt technology.: Know proper methods of soldering electrical wires and crimp connections: Strong acumen for network cabling and network devices (basic networking principles) : Cradlepoint router or equivalent configuration knowledge a plus: Experience working in cars, SUVs or RV/Campers: Reliable personal transportation : Work both independently and in a team Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
