The Engineering Technologist willprovide support production on technical issues and assist with new product development. In addition to competitive pay, Lincoln Electric offers a lucrative profit:sharing plan, student loan repayment program PLUS tuition reimbursement, medical/dental/vision, paid time off and many more outstanding benefits What You Will Do stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::The Engineering Technologist will provide technical support to engineers in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.:Develop and recommend procedures and methods and prepares technical reports and documentation.:Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause; recommends corrective actions.:Utilize schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems.:Gather, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data using established formulae and procedures and performs detailed mathematical calculations.:Operate basic lab equipment including meters, oscilloscopes, temperature recorders, etc. (Training provided as needed).:On an as needed basis, train, assist and observe other department personnel (as qualified) on the department equipment and/or process for improvements such as but not limited to safety, quality, ISO 14001 and 45001 and manufacturing proficiency/efficiency. Required Education and Experience stylemargin:bottom:11.0px::Bachelor of Science, Engineering Technology preferred.:Ability to work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies :Ability to work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments.:Good organizational skills and computer skills; proficient in the use of MS Office including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
