MCCH`s Radiology Department seeks an MRI Tech. This is a full time position and is eligible for Benefits. The hours of work are M-F, 32-40 hours per week and position includes shift rotation and call. The position will rotate between CT and MRI areas. Job Description: The MRI Technologist (magnetic resonance imaging), works under the direct supervision of the Radiology Director and reports to the Director and/or Assistant Director. The MRI Technologist operates equipment for diagnostic purposes in the detection of disease and injury. He or she upholds the mission and vision of Murray-Calloway County Hospital and follows all hospital policies and departmental procedures. Required Licenses and Certifications: ARRT (R) Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Advanced ARRT (MR) certification preferred. Must hold a radiation operator's license in the state of Kentucky. Current CPR. Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology program or equivalent Screening Requirements: Drug Screen Tuberculosis Test Background Check Physical Exam Respirator Fit Our Mission: To be the leading partner in improving the overall well-being of the people we serve.
