Data Analytics Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented data consultant to work shoulder-to-shoulder with organizations to understand their needs, develop data-driven solutions and deliverables, and support client success. The ideal candidate has strong data analytics visualization experience, is a technical problem solver, and takes initiative and ownership of their responsibilities. The candidate can work with clients to understand their needs, tailor custom solutions and experiences based on organizational goals, and deliver powerful results. This person must have data analytics skills, strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, strong communication skills, and be comfortable balancing multiple priorities, often under a tight timeframe. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with clients and key stakeholders to understand their needs, and develop, execute, and maintain data-based analytics solutions and applications Assist with the design, implementation, and delivery of an insights data pipeline supporting analytic products across the organization Manage all phases of project lifecycle, including data acquisition, data cleaning, data engineering, feature engineering, analysis, modeling, and visualization for business and product owners Create mockups/reports or draft data models to support data collection and storage Ensure data integrity is upheld by performing various quality-assurance tasks Stay updated on trends and new products by explore innovative opportunities to deliver custom solutions supporting client and business needs Support various business operational needs and provide additional support to team members and clients as needed This is a full-time position based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Remote candidates will be considered and are encouraged to apply. Candidates will be required to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding internal practices, client names, projects, etc. Qualifications Requirements for this position include the following: Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, information technology, or a related field Up to five years’ experience performing data analytics and leading data transformation projects and initiatives Experience with data processing, analysis and visualization in Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate client needs Ability to communicate effectively and convey technical information to non-technical team members and clients, both written and orally Ability to multitask and support multiple priorities at once Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree Experience managing projects with Git and GitHub Candidates will be required to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding internal practices, client names, projects, etc. WHY Emergent method At Emergent Method, we have a culture you won’t find anywhere else.
