We are looking for a highly-skilled loan partner to join our top-producing team and work alongside our loan officers. This position requires a unique mix of sales and customer service skills, plus the ability to manage loan files from beginning to end. Effective communication skills are essential for building relationships that help us to obtain future business. Responsibilities: • Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed• Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator• Act as the primary contact between our clients and our company and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed• Gather and coordinate necessary loan documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork• Answer questions about transactions for clients and company employees to help ensure a high level of customer satisfaction• Develop and maintain referral partner relationships• Take and process applications from borrowers• Guide borrowers through the mortgage process for home purchases and refinances• Research competitive mortgage rates and interest rates, and negotiate terms to find ideal mortgage product and lender for potential borrowers• Ensure a smooth mortgage process by working with the borrower’s real estate agent, mortgage professionals such as closing agents, and financial institution department underwriters Qualifications: • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with excellent customer service and communication skills• Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc. • Preferred degree in banking or finance, and a high school diploma or equivalent is required• 5+ years of professional office environment experience as a loan officer assistant or mortgage assistant preferred• Computer proficiency required including MS Office; some CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred• NMLS license is required before start date Compensation: $84,000 - $105,000 yearly About Company: House and Home Mortgage is a thriving mortgage brokerage located in Edmond, Oklahoma.
