Job Duties: Utilize advanced quantitative analysis methods including segmentation/clustering, regression analysis, portfolio optimization, and financial analysis/forecasting. Analyze results from large experimental datasets using R / MATLAB. Design experiments and research studies including market research studies and experiments using large amounts of user data. Identify and structure problems independently, working with a range of company partners to propose recommendations on multiple business issues ranging from growth strategy, market analyses and assessment, operational strategy, and others. Conduct rigorous analyses to inform strategic decisions. Partner with strategic leaders across different parts of Riot Games to serve as a strategic consultant and trusted advisor. Lead multiple work teams independently, partnering directly with senior executive leaders. Communicate recommendations to an audience that can include Riot's executive team and the Board. This position is based out of Riot Games, Inc.'s office in Los Angeles, California. Telecommuting is permitted within commutable distance of this location. Periodic on-site attendance will be required. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Physics, Business Analytics, Chemistry, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline and 2 years of experience in data analytics, operations research analysis, or related occupation. Special Skills:1. Programming languages, including R/MATLAB and Python to analyze large experimental datasets;2. data analysis tools, including Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio;3. research design and modeling; 4. statistical methods and techniques including regression, shrinkage, discriminant analysis, descriptive statistics, and inferential statistics;5. advanced quantitative analysis methods including segmentation/clustering, including audience and market segmentation, regression analysis, portfolio optimization, and financial analysis/forecasting; and6. market research studies, including conjoint / MaxDiff.
