Our client specializes in assisting home-service contractors in establishing thriving businesses from start to finish. They possess a patented system for basement repairs. The role of the Structural Engineer entails stabilizing spaces and walls, as well as waterproofing projects, requiring expertise in structural matters, particularly in concrete and steel.QUALIFICATIONS: Preferably based locally in the greater Omaha area. 5-7 years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on foundational projects. Possession of an Engineering degree. A Professional Engineer (PE) certification is mandatory; however, consideration will be given to candidates with an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification if they possess the desired qualifications in structural, concrete, steel, residential projects, etc. Preference for residential experience over commercial, although commercial experience will also be taken into account. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with concrete and steel products, with priority given to those with such experience. Seeking individuals who are looking to advance their careers while remaining closer to home and value a strong company culture. PhD candidates have not been found to be suitable matches for this role, as the educational background is deemed unnecessary and excessive. No sponsorship available. Must have prior experience as a structural engineer within the United States. Strong communication skills in English are essential, with an emphasis on being customer-facing.
