The DOPS must be accountable for adherence to company systems and compliance with state and federal regulations. - This position will also require you to fill supervisory nursing role obligations and serve as the Branch Director. The DOPS position can assume the role of Administrator as well. If serving as a DOPS only, the role would be primarily clinical oversight; the financial and business development functions would be minimal. Direct responsibility for delivery of quality care that meets client specific needs and in compliance with program/payer rules and physician ordersResponsible for efficient and effective utilization management in accordance with client needs, physician orders and payer requirementsFacilitates communication and coordination of care between clients, families, caregivers, physicians and other service providers as necessaryAssures efficient coordination of caregivers through case conferences and scheduling process and appropriate utilization of servicesAssures current and accurate clinical records in compliance with documentation requirements and program specific rules for coverage and qualifying criteriaAssures clinical records are maintained in their original state and not improperly altered or fabricatedPlans and assures adherence to budgetary guidelines, exercises appropriate expense control management with administratorMay oversee Account Executive functions including performance reviews and development plansServes as the local privacy officer of the agency, if the lead person in the agencyAssures all staff receive appropriate training and follow the policies for protected health informationInterviews, screens, and hires competent employees to meet the needs of clients and in compliance with applicable employment lawOversees the scheduling and competency of staff to assure safe, quality care and serviceOversees personnel management functions including staffing, performance reviews, and disciplinary actionsProvides a plan for staff retention and developmentAssures appropriate training to meet agency and regulatory requirementsCompletes other assignments and duties as requested and assigned to accomplish the goals and objectives of the CompanyWhat we'll love about you: Passion and commitment to clinical excellence, quality and integrityEmbracing and leading the patient care mission through providing an exceptional patient experiencePositive attitude and ability to fit in as a collaborative team member for patient careExcellent interpersonal communication and patient/family engagement skillsCommitment to clinical documentation excellence and quality along with ability to educate and inspire othersHigh energy, focus, work ethic, motivation and commitment to lifelong learning and growthFlexibility with diverse clients, cultures, and environments allowing you to provide excellent careAbility to demonstrate clinical skills in both a collaborative and solo contributor capacityExperience with EHR systems and their implementation/optimization in complex clinical settingsProficiency with federal, state and governing agency regulations Participates in continued clinical and in-service education, as well as professional training required by lawKnowledge and comfort level working with technology and enterprise wide support systems and toolsSuccessful management of a high volume of work, changing priorities as neededAppropriate judgment and critical thinking in decisions that requiring consideration of regulatory compliance, customer service, patient welfare and company interestsOutstanding presentation, writing and communication skillsPromotes the agency through positive representation and communication of its services Capable of using professional judgement to delegate selected nursing tasks Strong ability to be the public face of the organization, and serve as an advocate for Home Healthcare, Home Hospice and other service linesCreative thinker who embraces thought leadershipCapable of making challenging decisions and willing to take responsibility for them.Current state RN license, BSN preferred. Business coursework (business, finance, accounting, human resources) preferred Three (3) years of nursing experience required to consist of a minimum of: one (1) year of home care experience and two (2) years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting.Current Registered Nurse licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice Valid driver's license and automobile insurance#HIRING
