Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Machinist Apprentice. As a Machinist Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced machinists and learn the skills necessary to become a proficient machinist yourself. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about machines and eager to build a successful career in this field. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge of how to operate grinders, machinery, and other equipment. Ability to take precise measurements and make calculations. Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects. Developing plans of action to manufacture parts according to specifications. Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production. JOB REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to move roughly 50-75lbs. Understanding of health and safety regulations to reduce workplace accidents. Analytical and problem – solving skills to develop effective manufacturing processes. Excellent coordination and mechanical skills. Proficient in math. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment. Powered by JazzHR
