Our busy quick-service restaurant is looking for a cook who enjoys working in a fast-paced atmosphere. We need someone to prepare food stations, cook a large volume of food, and ensure that all food safety and storage rules are followed. Our ideal applicant has prior food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast-casual restaurants, as well as a willingness to learn. Our ideal applicant is a team player who is eager to collaborate with other crew members and has strong time management skills. Apply today if this sounds like an exciting opportunity! WE ARE ALSO HIRING FOR STOCK HELP Responsibilities: • Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality food is served• Maintain work stations, including all countertops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration in a clean and sanitary condition per health and safety regulations • Ready food stations by washing, cutting, dicing, and chopping items needed for food prep• Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it• Sweep, mop, clean countertops, and wipe down all used surface areas at the end of each shift• Cook pizza and serve customers food Qualifications: • Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage• Needs to be able to multitask, prioritize, and have excellent time management skills• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers• Previous experience working in fast food or quick service restaurant is preferred• Possesses a strong work ethic and have high attention to detail Compensation: $15 per hour About Company: We are a Family owned Gas Station/Market.
