Description: Summary of Responsibilities As part of the crew, the Floorhand operates machines and maintains equipment used for the workover rig. Most of their time is spent on the rig floor assisting the driller with a multitude of functions. Floorhands normally work 12-hour shifts. Schedules will consist of fourteen days on and fourteen days off; working both days and nights. Floorhands are expected to represent his/herself and Noble in a good manner. Floorhands should always follow the correct chain of command and report all safety problems or violations immediately. Primary Responsibilities (Not listed in relation to their priority) 1. Perform service on oil wells as part of a 3-5 person crew of a workover rig2. Assisting in rigging up or rigging down3. Basic care and maintenance of rig, tools, equipment, and trucks4. Picking up or laying down tubing5. Driving crew truck when necessary6. Complete time sheets and work tickets accurately7. Physical labor includes heavy lifting, crouching, standing, and other duties as needed. 8. Other duties assigned as neededRequirements: Preferred Qualifications 1. High School diploma, GED or equivalent2. 1-2 years of floorhand experience3. Basic problem-solving skills4. Organizational skills5. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions6. Ability to effectively communicate both oral and written7. Customer service skills8. Basic oilfield well servicing experience9. Ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects of up to 75 pounds for extended periods of time10. Ability to multi-task and be adaptable11. Ability to work in a face paced environment Special Requirements 1. 18 years or older2. Valid Driver's License3. Average shift: 12-hour workdays4. Rotation: fourteen days on fourteen days off Travel Requirements Travel to rig location before tower begins. Mathematical Skills Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weigh measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
