The successful candidate will ensure that effective brand management and global enforcement programs are established before marks launch.Duties:Work closely with clients to develop strategic approaches to managing, growing, and protecting their brands.Implement successful brand management and global enforcement programs before marks are launched.Conduct clearance searches for trademarksHandle trademark prosecution mattersEnforce trademarks through appropriate legal channelsManage brand portfolios effectivelyProvide counseling to clients regarding trademark strategy in the United States and internationallyRequirements:2-4 years of experience in trademark lawStrong understanding of trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, and brand/portfolio managementExcellent judgment and communication skillsCommitment to providing exceptional client serviceEducation:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolCertifications:Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission on motionSkills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsProficiency in legal research and writingKnowledge of trademark law in the United States and abroad This firm has a focus on leveraging knowledge to predict future obstacles and opportunities.
