The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Digestive Diseases is seeking a MD academic clinician to work with the gastroenterology service (subspecialty in advanced endoscopy) in a collaborative manner within and across divisions and departments in the medical center. This will be a teaching position and have the opportunity for research based on interest and credentials. It is supported by dedicated advanced practice providers and administrative staff. Compensation is highly competitive with the opportunity for incentives based on clinical and/or academic productivity. The individual will be assigned a pro rata amount of weekend/holiday/night call in accordance with division policies. Essential Functions : Patient care responsibilities including, but not limited to, Outpatient Clinic, Inpatient hospital service and consults, and endoscopy laboratory procedures. : Contributing to the clinical/patient care, research and teaching missions of the division. : Clinical duties including responsibilities for treating patients while accompanied by learners such as our students, residents and fellows.: Encompassing an active role in departmental fellowship programs resident teaching (e.g. evaluating curriculum and instruction to residents, and completing required evaluations), and presentations at the local, regional and national levels.: Other related duties as assigned.
