Job Summary The Regional Director of Operations is the key partner to the Food at Google Team for strategy, program development, financial management, opening new business, and defining a culture of excellence in the service and experience of the operation. Specifically, this position oversees all culinary, cafe, food spot, catering and warehouse operations. The role also oversees the support functions, such as procurement, human resources, accounting and both workplace and food safety. This leader is also responsible for identifying, motivating, training, developing and directing managers to deliver exceptional results and accomplish goals and projects. The Regional Director of Operations will focus on all aspects of the Food at Google program in a specific region in order to support operational excellence, and set the standard for all of the operations and systems. This position reports into the VP and will leverage their strong business knowledge, culinary, hospitality and people management skills to deliver positive results for all aspects of the Food Program. This role is based in Seattle, WA. The great things you will be expected to do::Key stakeholder with our client partners and all teams to operationalize the food program and execute the program vision :Supports the overarching strategic vision for the account, then develops and transposes the strategic vision into the region, bringing it to fruition onsite, across the various functions and work streams :Monitors and manages all financial responsibilities within agreed ranges and ensures teams work within budget while maintaining profitability and program standard :Successfully builds multiple layered relationships and drives the wider team to achieve this benchmark :Manages and mentors toward business goals, ensuring the maturation and training of senior management :Supports the design, manages and owns the overall food experience :Drives a culture of excellence throughout the business, with passion for quality food preparation and taste :Provides leadership and guidance to direct reports and leaders of others while inspiring and provoking creative solutions. :Oversees all partner, sector and Compass driven initiatives :Manages and mentors toward business goals, ensuring the maturation and training of senior management :Ensures all sector and Compass employee guidelines are implemented and adhered to :Oversees the teams that opens new business and/or revitalizes existing operations with new food programs, merchandising, equipment, etc Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of four (4) years college education; Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant or Business Management is preferred.
