Orbital ATK is currently seeking Software Quality Assurance Engineer team in our Chandler, AZ office. JOB SUMMARY The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer provides process oversight support during the software development life:cycle of various mission flights. They will be assisting the Lead SQA Engineer for the mission flight on various projects, to ensure all necessary software development life:cycle activities are properly performed. This includes evaluating and approving software documents and software change requests, participating in design model/code table top reviews, witnessing formal software installations and formal software testing, and performing software process audits throughout the life:cycle. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * A Bachelor Degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent and a minimum of two years of related experience. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Two years of related experience is required.* No supervisory experience required. WRITTEN AND VERBAL CONTACT * Interacts with internal and external customers, through emails, face:to:face meetings, and phone communications COMPUTER EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS * Knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows, C/C++, Java, and Linux required. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS * Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance which generally requires US Citizenship as a prerequisite. This position can be filled at a lower level requiring a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with 0 years of experience : some experience preferred.
