POSITION DESCRIPTION: Supervises employees spending majority of their time communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating employees, and planning and directing employees' work. Evaluate corrosion, steel, concrete, and composite material project/processes to determine current performance status. Make/recommend improvements to optimize delivery or improve results. Notify stakeholders of any changes to the project/process. Ensure project/process is consistent, predictable, and repeatable. Provide technical support and expertise to effectively address corrosion:related issues and challenges including the development and deployment of policies, specifications, and procedures. Coordinate the activities with representatives from other offices to assure a consistent and uniform direction to the programs. Assure that District Materials personnel have the necessary assistance in support of corrosion:related operations. Provide support in time to meet the customer's needs. Support and manage consultant contracts in accordance with applicable rules, laws, and procedures. Develop scope of task work orders as required. Review the consultant work effort and ensure the quality and timeliness of the work product
