Tucson Unified School District is seeking qualified applicants for the following position: Dean of Students Location: Davidson Elementary School School Year: 2024-2025 Job Summary: Collaborates with District staff, parents and students to identify high-risk students for future prevention services. May visit students and parents in the home to determine the cause for absenteeism, and academic or discipline problems. Monitors these students as they enter and go through school to determine the impact of prevention activities. Minimum Requirements: Valid Arizona teaching Certificate Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card Five years of teaching experience at the grade levels appropriate to the position filled. Verbal & Written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions. Valid Driver’s License Preferred Requirements: Master’s Degree in Educational Administration, Curriculum & Instruction or related field Demonstrated success in engaging African American and Latino students Bilingual (Spanish) Endorsement
