The Coordinator of Strategic Partnerships plays an imperative role in corporate fundraising at the Museum, and provides administrative and project support to the Manager of Strategic Partnerships in the solicitation of companies for Corporate Membership. The Coordinator of Strategic Partnerships supports the team and larger fundraising efforts through various responsibilities and tasks, including but not limited to drafting correspondence, letter and proposal preparation, mailings, ongoing client relations and stewardship, benefit fulfillment, marketing, reporting, and event planning. Responsibilities Coordinate, administer, and oversee aspects of the Corporate Membership program to support Manager of Strategic Partnerships and the functions of the department in order to reach overall fundraising goals and fiscal goals Draft general correspondence, renewal letters, solicitations, acknowledgements, invitations, marketing materials, and newsletters Assist with generating correspondence, renewals, invoicing, and follow-up calls; gift processing; grant applications and reports; benefit administration and tracking; tax receipts and welcome documents; research and prospecting; database maintenance including upkeep of the corporate contact list; stewardship; execution of marketing efforts, events, and employee engagement initiatives, and corporate mailings Collaborate across Advancement Department and with colleagues throughout the Museum to ensure the program runs smoothly and efficiently Coordinate and oversee guided tours of exhibitions for Corporate Members Complete grants and reports, oversee calendar of grant application and reporting deadlines Prepare visual materials and coordinate information from internal and external resources to assist in development of proposals and recaps for program support funding Oversee department intern, including hiring, onboarding, training, assigning projects, and other supervisory responsibilities Occasionally coordinate benefit fulfillment for active sponsors, including delivery of guest passes, catalogues, corporate courtesy cards, invitations, etc. Occasionally staff corporate rental events, Museum-wide exhibition openings, department-wide events including Art Party, Gala, or other important patron events Qualifications B.A. or B.S.; Art History, Arts Management, Business/Marketing preferred 2 years of professional experience, preferably in a museum, corporation, fundraising, or an arts-related organization Strong administrative and organization skills, attention to detail required Responsive and professional communicative style Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others Excellent oral and written communication skills Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Raiser's Edge management Ability to adapt with changing priorities, multiple deadlines, and ongoing tasks Some early mornings and late evenings for tours and events may be needed Compensation & Benefits Compensation rate of $55,000 per annum Medical, Dental, Vision, 403(B) elections Generous Paid Time Off benefits Commuter benefits - parking and mass transit Admission to world-renowned museums across the city and nationally Pet insurance and discounted membership for Citibike This role will be covered under UAW Local 2110 The advertised pay scale reflects the good faith minimum and maximum salary range for this role.
