Volt is immediately hiring a Stock Clerk Lead for a Government Distribution Company in Coronado CA.As a Stock Clerk Lead you will: * Lead is responsible for wide variety of job responsibilities in all facets of the distribution center operations pertinent to their assigned area of responsibility providing leadership and direction to assigned workforce within the functional work areas. * Ensures workforce adheres to audit readiness requirements and associated contract requirements. * Overseeing day-to-day planning, implementation and problem-solving of a team in the performance of the team's assignment. * In addition to managing the activities of the team, Team Leaders also perform a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. * Adheres to audit readiness and contract requirementsThis is a Full-Time Temp-To-Hire AssignmentThe ideal candidate will have experience with: * Required, Must have or be able to gain US Secret Security Clearance * Possess a valid Driver's License. * Fluent in speaking, reading and writing the English language. * High School Diploma (or equivalent) * Must be able to pass Government Background Check (DBIDS) * Able to work within the local Controlled Programs must be able to obtain the appropriate Security Clearance access and comply with associated contract requirements. * Experience with HAZARDOUS Material * Ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (Forklifts and other) * Ability to successfully complete WMS training, OSHA compliance, DLA SOP training and various other company trainings * Understanding ability to use the Government provided Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other Government Data Systems to perform the requirements of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). * Follow established guidelines in performing day-to-day routine tasks as outlined in Standard Operating * Able to perform Procedures (SOPs)/Job Breakdown sheets (JBS), Technical Manuals, and Audit Readiness standards. * Understand the Acceptable Performance Levels (APL's) associated with assigned functional work areas / process and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals. * Able to adhere to Government and Company policies and procedures * Comprehend and understand the facility storage plan as outlined by management and SOPs. * Ability to communicate in a professional manner with co-workers, site management and CGA regarding operations and policies at the Distribution Center.Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday, 7:00AM - 3:30PMPay Rate: $28.72 per hour*If employee opts out of Health benefits, $6.01 will be added to the employee's hourly rate.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Experience in the following is a plus: * Military or DLA Distribution experience a plus. * Previous experience in warehouse / distribution environment a plus.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
