Raise the bar in the Automotive Industry Grow and develop professionally Learn from the best in the business Take the next step in a long CAREER Parts Managers are responsible for inventory management and control for businesses that use or sell replacement parts, including car dealerships, construction companies and service centers. They work with suppliers to source necessary parts. The Parts Manager serves as the head of the parts department, which means all staff in that department report to them. This might include parts associates and parts drivers. Parts Managers hire and train staff members as well as provide day-to-day supervision and discipline. The Parts Manager also collaborates with other departments within the dealership or organization. Pay: $66,000/year-$96,000/year + Bonus Essential Duties Provide prompt, dependable, high-quality service to (internal & external) customers. Ensure service department contributes an acceptable level of gross net profit. Maximize productivity levels of parts advisors. Ensure service personnel are alert, well trained, and available when needed. Review work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness. Occasionally assist parts advisor. Develop procedures in conjunction with the Service Manager that ensures a smooth flow of parts to Service Technicians during jobs. Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for parts management. Ensure employees keep a clean, efficient, and orderly department.
