Northmarq is offering a Marketing and Communications Internship for a student studying communications, marketing, or journalism at their Minneapolis, MN (Bloomington, MN) headquarters office. Prospective candidates should be interested in executing digital marketing, social media, public relations, and copywriting within a fast-paced, growing department for an innovative, market-leading company in commercial real estate. Position Responsibilities: Support the Brand & Content team through various initiatives and ad hoc projects. Assist in the employee headshot process by scheduling sessions, managing, and organizing headshot libraries, and scouting new local photographers. Aid the social media coordinator in tasks such as analyzing performance metrics, scheduling posts, crafting employee resource guides, researching industry best practices, and more. Contribute to the Northmarq Neighbors community service program by providing assistance and support. Gain hands-on experience across different areas of the marketing department, including digital marketing, communications, public relations, research, graphic design, and other related functions. What We're Looking For: Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, or related field, preferred, with expected graduation date of December 2024 or May 2025. Experience with MS Office products including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Experience in social media, email marketing tools, and project management tools is a plus. Must be "self-directed" and willing to take initiative and direction.
