The ideal candidate will have experience handling Professional Liability Litigation matters and possess superior academic credentials. Job Overview:The Professional Liability Associate Attorney will be responsible for independently managing a litigation caseload, handling court appearances and depositions, and communicating with clients to provide status reports. This role requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously. Duties:Handle Professional Liability Litigation mattersIndependently manage a litigation caseload, from inception through resolutionRegularly handle court appearances and depositionsCommunicate with clients to provide status reportsConduct legal research and analysisDraft pleadings, motions, and other legal documentsCollaborate with partners and other team members on case strategy and developmentProvide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and support staff as needed Requirements:3+ years of experience in commercial and/or civil litigationJD from an ABA-accredited law schoolLaw Review/Law Journal or Moot Court experience strongly preferredAdmission to practice in CaliforniaSuperior academic credentialsExcellent written and oral communication skills Education:Juris doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications:Admission to practice in California Skills:Strong analytical and research skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectivelyExcellent written and oral communication skillsExperience handling Professional Liability Litigation matters is preferred This nationwide firm is known for practicing in a wide range of areas including Employment and Labor Law, Real Estate, Insurance, Financial Services, Class Action, Construction Law, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, and many others.
