The ideal candidate will have extensive experience interpreting insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and litigating coverage matters. Job Overview:The Insurance Coverage Attorney will be responsible for interpreting insurance policies, providing coverage opinions, and handling coverage litigation matters. This role requires superior academic credentials, excellent written and oral communication skills, and a strong background in insurance law. Duties:Interpret insurance policies and provide coverage opinionsDraft coverage opinions and other legal documentsLitigate coverage matters, including disputes related to general liability, professional liability (EO), directors officers, employment practices liability, and cyber insurance policiesCommunicate with clients to provide legal advice and updates on coverage mattersConduct legal research and analysisCollaborate with partners and other team members on case strategy and developmentProvide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and support staff as needed Requirements:5+ years of coverage experience (advice and litigation) in the insurance spaceJD from an ABA-accredited law schoolAdmission to the California BarExtensive experience interpreting insurance policies and drafting coverage opinionsSuperior academic credentialsExcellent written and oral communication skills Education:Juris doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school Certifications:Admission to the California Bar Skills:Extensive experience interpreting insurance policiesStrong analytical and research skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsLitigation experience in insurance coverage matters This nationwide firm is known for practicing in a wide range of areas including Employment and Labor Law, Real Estate, Insurance, Financial Services, Class Action, Construction Law, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, and many others.
