The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing multiple matters concurrently, specializing in registered investment companies, investment advisers, and federal securities laws compliance. Duties:Manage multiple matters simultaneously within the realm of investment servicesProvide legal counsel on regulatory and compliance matters pertaining to federal securities lawsHandle issues related to registered investment companies and investment advisersConduct thorough research and analysis on pertinent legal topics Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree with exemplary academic credentialsAdmission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction or in the process of obtaining admission4-6 years of experience in investment services, focusing on registered investment companies and investment advisersProficiency in regulatory and compliance matters concerning federal securities laws, including the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 Education Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree Skills:Strong ability to manage multiple matters concurrentlyAnalytical skills for conducting legal research and problem-solvingComprehensive understanding of federal securities laws and regulations, particularly the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the Securities Act of 1933 This mid-sized, East Coast law firm practices within three general areas of the law: corporate, labor and employment, and litigation.
