DVSC specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of surgical diseases in dogs and cats. Our surgeons perform neurologic, orthopedic, soft tissue, as well as minimally invasive procedures. Our Dallas Location is searching for: ICU/Patient Care Technician – Day Shift o Our ICU/patient care technicians assist our doctors in a wide range of duties. Including placement of IV catheters, blood draws, IV fluid maintenance, surgical recovery, post-op pain management, post-op patient monitoring and documentation, daily upkeep of patient care ward, communication with clients. Other potential duties may include radiographs, assist surgical prep and induction. What we are looking for: A Surgery savvy, experienced Veterinary Technician, with strong leadership skills seeking to join a cohesive, dedicated team, committed to quality patient care, and efficient, 5-star client service! Required Skills: LVT or Experienced Veterinary Assistant dedicated to outstanding client service and excellent patient care . Ability to maintain a positive, respectful, uplifting hospital culture and genuinely love working with people that share that same value. Initiative – you are a dedicated worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital , you will help get all the day’s duties done! Versatile – you know how to effectively adapt to the individual needs of each patient and are dedicated to making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
