Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Kirkville/Bridgeport area with a young lady with a mild intellectual disability. She and her family are looking for a dedicated DSP to provide support and assist her with working on her goals, both at home and in community settings. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: transportation, accompanying and s upporting her during community outings , assisting her to gain independent living skills at home and in the community and supporting her with health and safety. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, patient, and enthusiastic. Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities a plus. Reliable vehicle and a valid NYS driver's license are required. 20-30 hours per week. Additional weekend hours may be available. Multiple staff may be considered. Mon-Fri 7:00/8:00am-9:00am Must be available to drop her off at work on the east side of Syracuse at 9:00am. Mon-Fri 12:00pm-3:00/4:00pm Must be available to pick her up at work on the east side of Syracuse at 12:00pm. Pay rate: $21.00 per hour. EFR is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
