Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP} , Full Time Position Summary: The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMNNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric eva luation , m edication management , and therapy services . The PMHNP will work in collaboration with virtual assistants, office staff , behavioral technicians , nurses, and nurse practitioners to coordinate client care , assist with insurance pre - authorization , and general caseload management. Job Requirements and Qualifications: Required Education: Master's or Doctorate Degree in Nursing Focus on psychiatric Minimum Required Experience : At least 1 year providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric Licenses/Certifications : Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) . An unrestricted and current license to practice as an adva nc ed practice registered nurse (APRN) in the state of practice. Must have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in the state of Must be able to prescribe controlled substances in practicing states .
