Job Description: Title: Private Patrol Operations Manager (OM) Location: New Mexico Salary: Negotiable DOE Must be an already licensed Private Patrol Operations Manager in NM Employment type: Contract employment, Full Time opportunities A new private security guard company is looking for an already licensed Private Patrol Operations Manager to hire under contract, with options for Full-Time, permanent work. Cascadia Global Security (CGS) was established in 2018 as a proudly veteran-owned and operated security company. CGS is a rapidly growing company based in the Pacific Northwest and currently located in Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Texas. The Operations Manager is responsible for but not limited to: Effectively setting out goals and objectives for your team, including those for supervisory roles that may fall under your reporting line and structure Driving employee engagement through personal interaction and engagement with your team in order to develop and coach them in their duties and responsibilities Managing your area of responsibility, including providing support for your managers by making sure staffing is being addressed, payroll is done correctly and on time, and any progressive discipline is done correctly and adequately documented. Creating a strong working relationship with clients Strong team building as you will work with the National Support office to include, but not limited to; Human Resources, payroll, training, and recruiting teams. Managing contractual budgets in line with financial targets Developing professional internal and external customer relationships, responding appropriately and timely to requests and concerns Completing effective health & safety assessments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of incidents, involvement in subsequent investigations, and providing input into health & safety. Managers require strong leadership abilities because they oversee all security and public safety personnel for an organization Analytic skills and problem-solving abilities are necessary because security operations managers must evaluate existing security and safety protocols and work to improve efficiency by analyzing and implementing emergent procedures. Security managers need to be able to prioritize tasks because they are directly responsible for the day-to-day oversight of safety and security for the organization as well as coordination for special events and managing emergency preparedness procedures in their regions. QUALIFICATIONS Private Patrol Ops Manager license is required Verifiable experience in upper management leading persons in a fast-paced environment. Business management skills Excellent internal and external customer service skills Problem solver Experience with mentoring and training staff Knowledge of risk management Experience with implementing progressive discipline if needed Skill with Microsoft Office Able to track contracts, staffing levels, costs, payroll, training, etc. Strong time management and prioritization skills A basic understanding of security is a plus, but not mandatory Approachable, understanding, willing to not make quick judgments 4 year's degree in management or a related field is a plus Comprehensive benefits program including Medical/Dental/Vision along with complimentary Life Insurance + many additional options if hired for full-time Must be able to pass a background check and have the ability to travel.
