The Home Coordinator will be responsible for the successful supervision and management of an assigned home that has 8 clients.This position is ideal for someone who:Has Supervisory experience and demonstrates ability to build a positive team environmentExperience working with individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilitiesEnsures all support services are implementedPerforms routine paperwork, reviews all incidentsAssures assessments are accurate and up to datePlan & coordinate community activitiesProvides direct care services to individuals with developmental disabilities including assistance with personal hygiene, food preparation, grocery shopping, general household cleaning, attending medical appointments, transporting individuals to appointments and activitiesMentor new staff and ensure appropriate training is providedAssist with performance reviews of each staffEnsure policies and procedures are fully implementedOn call rotationWork every other weekendAble to work 2nd & 3rd shiftsFill in when necessaryAbility to express ideas and adapt to changeAble to effectively communicate in oral and written formRequirements:High School Graduate or GEDMust not have a criminal record that includes felonies or misdemeanors against persons that are in conflict with the requirements of the position or agency policy.Valid drivers licenseActive auto insurance5 or less points on driving recordReliable vehicleExperience working with individuals who have a developmental disabilityExperience leading a teamAble to pass drug testPowered by JazzHR
