Role: Supervisor, Training & Development On-Site: Ashburn, Virginia Salary: $100,000 - $130,000Recruiting Heroes is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor, Training & Development to join our client in Ashburn, Virginia. POSITION SUMMARY This individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee training and development programs within the organization. This role will involve designing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives to ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for employee development, and a thorough understanding of training methodologies. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and priorities. Design and develop training programs, courses, and materials tailored to the specific needs of different departments and job roles. o Set up Training Center to house all ESI and manufacturers trainings and manuals. Incorporate learning principles and instructional design best practices into training content. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate employees on various topics, including safety procedures, technical skills, customer service, and compliance regulations. New hire training o Utilize a variety of training methods, such as presentations, role-playing, cases studies, and hands-on exercises, to engage employees and enhance learning effectiveness. Ensure that training sessions are scheduled and conducted efficiently to minimize disruption to daily operations. Documentation of production equipment, service activities, and quality control activities. Training Administration: o Maintain accurate records of employee training activities, including attendance, completion, and evaluation data. o Coordinate logistics for training events, such as scheduling venues, arranging catering, and managing training materials and equipment. Monitor training budgets and expenditures to ensure cost-effective use of resources. Observe employee performance and progress following training interventions to assess the impact on job performance and to identify further development needs. Qualifications Bachelors degree and 7 + years of experience in a related field. Proven ability of technical writing and hands-on expertise (electrical, mechanical, and piping). Understanding of a commercial entity's corporate structure and mission. Experience in training teams using various and proven methods. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
