Jr. Scrum Master, Remote 3 Month Contract (May-August) 100% Remote Due to our government client requirements, we can only consider US Citizens or a Green Card holders for this position NO THIRD PARTY RECRUITERS PLEASE! CANDIDATES MUST BE SELF-REPRESENTED. Target Rate: $36/hr W2, no benefits or $40/hr C2C (Must have own company. We DO NOT work with 3rd party recruiters). Description Our client is seeking a Scrum Master for a 3 month contract to support a contract with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Responsibilities Support a scrum team of about 10-12 people involved in a cloud operations and maintenance project supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Following the SAFe agile methodology, guide and coach scrum team on how to use agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to CMS. Help the Scrum Team focus on creating high-value Increments that meet the Definition of Done. Remove impediments to the Scrum Teams progress. Help the Scrum Team understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items. Help scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity. Facilitate stakeholder collaboration as needed. Requirements Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of experience as a Scrum Master Scrum Master certification a plus Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction Desired Previous experience supporting Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) in a SAFe agile environment.
