Job Description and Duties This position supports the California Department of Public Health's (CDPH) mission and strategic plan by enhancing services through administrative operations; ensuring that core business operations are efficient, transparent, accurate and customer focused. The incumbent works under the Staff Services Manager I, Fiscal and Support Unit Chief, in the Center for Healthy Communities (CHC) Operation Section. The Staff Services Analyst (SSA) is responsible for the review, monitoring and tracking of administrative activities including, but not limited to, personnel, workforce development, and facility/health and safety. The SSA assists with day-to-day support, coordination, and tracking for assignments, drills, and requests from CHC/CDPH management, the Human Resources Division (HRD) and the Administrative Division. The SSA will assist in the development and coordination of presentations and reports provided to CHC Staff and management.
