CDL Class A Delivery Driver

Overview: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Driver for a Temp to Hire project with potential for permanent employment. Based out of Euless, TX, this role involves transporting multiple pallets of flooring products to both commercial and residential locations within Texas. The ideal candidate is comfortable with 1st shift hours, experienced in operating both Class A and Class B vehicles, and capable of handling physical demands. Core Responsibilities: Safe Transportation: Drive routes within TX, delivering flooring materials to various locations, adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Load and Unload Cargo: Efficiently load and unload multiple flooring pallets at each destination. Forklift operation may be required. Assist warehouse workers when not on the road. Schedule Adherence: Start daily routes at 8:00 AM, and prepare for shifts until 5:00 PM, with potential overtime as needed. Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition for safe operation. Documentation: Accurately complete delivery documentation and comply with reporting requirements. Route Planning: Utilize GPS and route planning tools to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely deliveries. Customer Interaction: Engage professionally with customers at delivery points to ensure a positive service experience and handle any immediate customer service issues. Requirements: Valid Class A CDL: Must possess a current Class A Commercial Drivers License. Experience: 3-5 years of driving experience required, preferably with experience delivering to both commercial and residential locations. Physical Capability: Able to lift up to 60 lbs unassisted. Dependability : Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential, with flexibility to accommodate variable shift lengths and additional duties.
