As a manager, you will be the leader in representing the Deseret Book brand voice to your team and our customers. You will be responsible for the sales and operations of your store including: training, customer service, marketing, promotions and merchandising. Starting Date Immediately Store Denver, CO Where 2010 E Country Line Rd #A , Littleton, CO 80126 Type Full Time Salary $55,000 - $59,000 Description Create and maintain a store environment that provides customers with a world-class customer service experience Ensure excellent delivery of merchandise and services Reach sales goals of the product through executing corporate sales promotions, advertising, and display plans Achieve financial objectives (revenue and expenses) within annual budgets Lead out on key human resource needs (recruiting, training, scheduling, performance management, etc) to develop a well-trained and knowledgeable team who live the brand voice Meet and maintain the store excellence checklist on a weekly basis with your team Help grow local customer base through outreach marketing strategies Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience 2 or more years of retail supervisory experience with excellent self-management skills Merchandising, customer service, and self-management skills A team player who motivates, inspires and elevates others. A growth mindset with an eagerness to learn and coachable via feedback and experience. A proven sales leader with consistent results who embraces the 3Es and proactively shares product knowledge/experience on repeat (Platinum %, phone capture, email capture/confirm above store average) Ability to take initiative and operate in “see it, own it, solve it, do it.” Knowledge of LDS-oriented books and merchandise preferred Available to work a regular schedule that includes a variety of shifts including evenings and Saturdays and is frequently more than 40 hours/week Ability to stand for long periods and regularly lift 20 lbs.
