These teams are seeking to hire multiple patient-centered Medical Assistant II, to support our growing clinics. The University of Iowa Community Clinics is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) Medical Assistant II at UICC Urology, OB-GYN, and Family Medicine Clinics. About Urology Clinics: Our experts provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment in the clinic setting as well as surgical interventions for all urologic system diseases and disorders. Our physicians and nurses understand the reluctance some people feel about seeking help. Accurately documents events and decision-making in a manner that results in appropriate medical charting. This position also includes FREE on-site parking!Summary: Under direct supervision of LIP (licensed independent practitioner), RN (registered nurse), NM/ANM (nurse manager/assistant nurse manager) or other licensed designee, functions as a member of the patient care team. Special Qualifications * Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards Desirable Qualifications * Previous EPIC experience * Previous phlebotomy experience In order to be considered, applicants must upload resume (under submission relevant materials) that clearly address how they meet the listed required and desired qualifications of this position.
