The candidate will assist in legal research; pleadings, motions, and discovery; depositions and examinations under oath; and rendering opinions on liability, damages, and the value of a case. Experience with general commercial litigation is a plus. Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar. This reputed law firm has its offices in New Jersey, New York, and Florida and is comprised of a significantly large team of highly competent attorneys. The key areas of concentration at the firm are commercial litigation, personal injury law, and securities law. The attorneys here have various speaking engagements throughout the year and are strong advocates of diversity in the workplace.Additional Skills: The candidate should have strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to manage and prioritize caseloads while handling complex matters. Must be a motivated, self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fun, collaborative environment. Should demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service, be able to identify and resolve problems promptly, be conscientious concerning work completion and deadlines, and be detail-oriented.
