They will analyze legal precedents, strategize case approaches, and ensure the best possible outcome for clients.Duties:Advise clients on their legal rights and draft legal documents related to their casesAttend pretrial hearings and provide clients with post-hearing advice and strategiesManage court appearances trials, draft motions, interview witnesses, and conduct legal researchAnalyze probable case outcomes based on legal precedentsEffectively manage a workload of casesProvide legal analysis to determine potential case benefits for clientsGather additional evidence to support client cases or counter-prosecution chargesPrepare clients for depositions and gather information from witnesses and expertsCollaborate with fellow associates to strategize and support case effortsRequirements:4-5 years of Criminal Defense ExperienceExperience handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local levelsBilingual proficiency in English and SpanishStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a team environmentEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolAdmission to the State Bar of Texas or ability to become admittedSkills:Legal research and analysisCourtroom litigation skillsCase management and workload prioritizationStrong communication and negotiation abilitiesFluency in English and SpanishBenefits:The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, competitive compensation, paid parking, paid time off, and more.
