Yes, they must report in-person to a specific location Country: United States of America City: Selma State: AL Postal Code: 36701 Monetary: Confidential Currency: $ USD Salary Minimum: $90,000.00 Salary Maximum: $120,000.00 Signing Bonus: No Relocation Package: Full Must-Haves: Baccalaureate degree in Nursing Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama or multi-state 3-5 years of progressive nursing leadership 5 years of experience in short term acute care hospitals Nice-To-Haves: Master's degree in related discipline Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Director to oversee and coordinate medical services in our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, medical terminology, and experience in hospice care and home health services. Responsibilities: Direct and coordinate patient service delivery. Educate and develop staff. Control budget(s) and manage the work environment. Develop and maintain clinical competencies through continuing education. Manage safe staffing, scheduling, hiring, and employee orientation. Motivated to achieve the financial and operational objectives of the hospital. Work closely with the Chief Nursing Officer and Assistant Chief Nursing Officer. Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in nursing or equivalent. Masters degree in related discipline (preferred). Work Experience: Five (5) years of progressive leadership and managerial experience (required). Three (3) years of director-level experience at a short-term acute care hospital. Prior operational and supervisory experience within a complex medical center (preferred). License/Certification: Registered Nurse License for the state of Alabama (either single state or multi-state).
