Production Associate / General Laborer with Mechanical Aptitude Fulltime Seasonal Position Shift: Offseason - Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM, In-Season - Sunday - Friday, 2:30PM - 10:30PM Job Description: The Production Associate is responsible for operating the manufacturing equipment that supplies raw materials to the production line. Conducts basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently. Maintains and schedules preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. Operates and monitors assigned lines, materials, and finished products as necessary to facilitate proper flow and machine operation. Coordinates and moves the products from the production lines to the skids. Examines product for quality and ensures all Food Safety Handling Procedures are followed. Records daily logs of packages bags and wasted packaging material. Inspects date codes for accuracy and legibility. Adopts a culture of cleanliness and safety in the work environment. Trains employees on the operation of equipment. Additional duties may be assigned. Candidate Qualifications: Experience working in a production environment is considered an asset. Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 lbs. repeatedly. Must be comfortable working with power tools. Forklift experience. Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
