Entry Level Mechanic Basler Turbo Conversions is GROWING! Founded in 1990, Basler Turbo Conversions, LLC is headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Our BT-67 aircraft is flown in almost every corner of the world. We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, accountable entry-level Aircraft Mechanic Assistant to be part of a great and fast growing team. This entry-level opportunity requires 1 year of manufacturing/maintenance experience. Duties will consist of assisting the mechanic on the aircraft. Must be familiar with air tools, hand tools & must have a strong mechanical aptitude. This is a great opportunity to learn a skilled trade with the opportunity to advance as you become more skilled in the roll. Other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience Required: Must take instruction and guidance well Must be goal oriented Exceptional attention to detail Must work well in team situations and individually. Enthusiasm to learn. Drive for process improvement and learning our aircraft and systems. High energy level. Ability to multitask. Ability to work at both a fast pace and high quality level. Team Spirit. Strong mechanical aptitude. Must have own set of basic mechanic tools and rolling tool box Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol tests. Be authorized to work in the US. Physical Abilities: This position requires you to perform a variety of physical activities such as: Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, sitting, working overhead, extensive walking, working in tight/confined spaces and lifting up to 50 pounds Handling hazardous material in performance of assigned duties Be able to use Personal Protective Equipment (e.g., respirators, safety glasses, safety shoes, etc.) This description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by an employee within this position; additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as appropriate Basler Turbo Conversions offers a competitive wage and benefits package which include: Paid Holidays Vacation and Personal Leave Medical Dental and Vision 401K Desired: High school diploma/GED required Hours: 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday
