Preparation and application of painting products to interior and exteriorbuilding surfaces. Must know the best practice of scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting, and stream-cleaning. Having experience in removing old wallpaper and loose paint; repairextensive wall damage and include the knowledge of best practices fordealing with a range of building materials (e. g. drywall, concrete, wood) in arange of disrepair (water damaged, smoke damaged etc. ). Expertise in creating desired colour and texture by knowing how to mix andthin paint. Application of drywalling texturing (popcorn), especially to match a pre-existing application in appearance is required. Knowledge of application of wallpapers, fabric, and other material to walls Having a deep knowledge of other materials such as stains, lacquer, enamel, oil, varnish, fiberglass, metal coating using brushes, rollers, or sprayequipment. experience in refinishing cabinetry and experience in application ofpolyurethane coatings. Experience with all categories of caulking. Demonstrate experience in working in residential environments wherecleanliness and precision is of upmost importance. Being able to adhere to job timelines and complete projects in a timelyfashion. Knowledge in best practices on chemical products disposal and recyclingand spill management.
