Outreach and Program Navigator Full Time 12 months per year; 35 hours per week Salary: $47,500; Excellent Benefits Package Position Summary The Outreach and Program Navigator provides outreach support to the College to recruit workforce students for advanced technology and healthcare programs and to coordinate promotion and entry into these programs. This position is grant funded through August 31, 2025. This grant funded position will provide targeted outreach in the community and will support students in the onboarding process to create a seamless entry into the program. Primary Responsibilities Attend Open Houses and Info Sessions targeted for the Adult Student. Advise students on pre-requisites that will ensure students have the resources needed to be successful in training program. Assist student with registration process. Facilitate communication between students, tutors and supportive services as needed, Develop relationships with local employers aligned with programs being offered to Adult students. Assist students with services needed to ensure success in program. Host mentoring events that lead to the creation of a professional network for students. Coordinate with the Enrollment and Success Center for all students enrolling into microcredentials or programs that lead to certificates and degrees Track and report on student success measures Other related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Must have knowledge of college processes. Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting students with special needs Demonstrated commitment to student success Experience as a job coach, vocation counselor or employment trainer And A commitment to SUNY Ulster’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Mission, Goals and Objectives of providing quality programs and services for a culturally, socio-economically, ethnically, and academically diverse community; qualities to work effectively and with sensitivity in a multicultural environment; awareness of and commitment to the needs of non-traditional and/or re-entry students and individuals with diverse abilities and interests. Salary: Salary is $47,000 per year. Full Time; 12 months per year; 35 hours per week. Evening hours required. All positions are contingent upon adequate funding.
