Job Description: Are you seeking your next HR advisor role within the financial services sector If this sounds like you, we have a great opportunity for you Our client, a global financial services business based in Edinburgh, is recruiting for an HR advisor on a 6 month contract. Core Responsibilities: Act as first line of HR advice to the firm, delivering quality and clear guidance, and providing employees and managers with an excellent service. When appropriate, escalate queries to either the Senior Advisers or relevant Centre of Excellence teams within HR. Ensure the maintenance of accurate employee and HR records both on and off system, ensuring all regulatory and legislative requirements are met. Support colleagues on how to utilise the HR system effectively, ensuring employees and managers are comfortable with all functionality. Project support, as and when required. Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of the HR Advice team, by taking a proactive process ownership approach. Specialism in either ‘Generalist’ or ‘Onboarding & Talent’, where the majority of role is spent delivering the appropriate activities. Flexibility between specialisms is required depending on case volumes and/or cyclical processes.
