Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Production Manager’s mission is to achieve the manufacturing objectivesassociated with his or her unit's business strategy by optimizing available resources, rigorously applying businessprocesses and establishing an eff ective communication system. You therefore participate in the implementation ofprocesses, practices and tools specifi c to your unit aimed at optimizing operational effi ciency. You also build amobilized and competent team and support their production eff orts while nurturing a culture of continuousimprovement and health and safety. As a result, you contribute to the achievement of your unit's strategic plan bypositively infl uencing the adoption of healthy and safe behaviours, operating costs, performance and productioncapacity and quality. Individual responsibilities Accountable Lead all areas of operations, including production, maintenance and logistics across the multiple locations; Provide direction to a team of Supervisors and support staff. Manage, coach and engage staff based on the organization's values and business strategy; Maximize manufacturing efficiency and lead continuous improvement efforts in his/her sector; Participate in strategic planning process.
