Location: 13176 Lilley Dr Maple Ridge, BC, V2W 1C6Salary: $30.00 per hour Vacancies: 4Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time 40 hours per week Employment groups: Indigenous people, Newcomers to Canada, Veterans, Visible minorities, Youth Start date: Starts as soon as possible Employment conditions: Day, Evening, Morning Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience2 years to less than 3 years Responsibilities: Tasks: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware- Supervise other workers- Estimate costs and materials- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding Personal suitability: Client focus, Judgement, Team player Who can apply to this job?
