The RN responds to life-threatening situations with appropriate nursing interventions. The RN organizes patient care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis. Minimum Qualifications New graduate RN with less than one year of experience. Obtain licensure in the state of Oregon within 3 months of hire. Must have Oregon state RN licensure before beginning the program. Obtain BLS certification within 3 months of hire and maintain as current. Obtain ACLS certification within 6 months of hire and maintain as current. Essential Job Functions Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Nursing Process for patients in the following age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics. Documents thoroughly, following regulatory and hospital requirements. Participates in the responsible management of health care resources. Assumes responsibility for clinical competency and professional development.
