The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Position Overview Under the general direction of the Manager of Patient Care, the incumbent applies advanced nursing theory in the backssment, planning, implementation and evaluation of outpatients. Experience Minimum four years recent child and adolescent Mental Health Nursing experience in an acute care facility required. Previous experience in community and/or ambulatory care nursing is preferred. Satisfactory employment record is required. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Graduate from an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing required. BN or BSc MH or BSc PN or equivalent as recognized by the Centre required. Master's Degree in Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing or Family Therapy is preferred. Ongoing relevant continuing education in the mental health field is required. Certification/Licensure/Registration Must be an active practicing member of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) and/or the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba (CRPNM). Active participation in professional associations e. g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
