Our client is looking for a skilled Pipe Fitter at the Body in White division, where they will design, build and integrate body-in-white welding and joining production systems for the automotive and commercial truck sectors. What is in it for you? $27/HR - depending on experience Competitive health, dental, vision, employee assistance and wellness benefits, beginning on the first day of employment Matching contribution pension plan Internal development and promotion opportunities, both locally and globally Tuition reimbursement Employee referral bonus program Social events and community engagement Customer and other marketplace discounts An inclusive and diverse work environment Hours of Work: 7 AM start time 10/12 hrs per day Monday - Friday Lots of overtime Location: Windsor, ONResponsibilities: Ensure all pneumatic and hydraulic components are installed, tested, and functioning in accordance with customer specifications, drawings, and safety standards Be involved in line-up meetings for planning purposes and to ensure that estimated hours are accurate Be involved during the design phase to provide input on controls design and to obtain advanced knowledge of job content Organize material, lead and provide technical direction to outside contractors and internal apprentices In conjunction with the build leader and other trades, ensure jobs are completed on time in accordance with project timelines and customer delivery schedules Assume a troubleshooting role during the tryout phase of the equipment Provide technical assistance in the installation of equipment at customer locations Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience.
