Practice Area: Litigation - Appellate, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in Boston is seeking a skilled and motivated Supreme Court and Appellate Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have experience as a judicial clerk, preferably for a federal or state appellate court, with excellent legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills. They must possess a completed JD from an accredited law school and strong academic credentials. Duties:Conduct extensive legal research on complex appellate and Supreme Court cases.Draft persuasive briefs, memos, and other legal documents for submission to appellate courts.Analyze legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients on appellate matters.Assist in oral arguments before appellate courts, including the Supreme Court.Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and development.Stay updated on developments in appellate law and procedure. Requirements:Experience as a judicial clerk, preferably for a federal or state appellate court.Completed JD from an accredited law school.Excellent academic credentials.Strong legal research and writing skills.Superb oral and written communication skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Bar admission in Massachusetts preferred (or willingness to obtain). Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications (if applicable):Bar admission in any U.S. state.Appellate practice certification (preferred). Skills:Excellent legal research abilities.Persuasive legal writing skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Clear and effective oral communication.Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
