Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a "CI Engineer" for one of our reputed clients. This is a Direct Hire role, an Onsite position in Miramar, FL.Overview Support Client's key vision on driving value to customers and suppliers while eliminating nonvalue added activities. In this opportunity, you will play a pivotal role in managing focused improvement projects across our divisions, establishing a one best way in our national programs, and maximizing cost opportunities through internal and external benchmarking. Primary Responsibilities CI Leads Process Improvement on Critical issues with tools such as 5S, root cause analysis, six sigma, time and motion studies, across our warehouse and transportation network. Provides development opportunities for the divisions by delivering best in class training; mentoring; supporting tasks and role definitions; tracking skills development; providing recognition; and ensuring diversity awareness. Assists with the tactical deployment of the CI program methodology. Manages project execution of top losses in the functional areas and assists in building the capability of the organization at a national level. Develops change management tools and organizational assessments to promote new platform/technology adoption. OBW Develops Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and tracks business results to drive analysis, loss elimination, and by creating standard work to reduce process variation. Develops new national One Best Way playbooks and provides input to Operational Effectiveness Leaders on project ideation and replication opportunities. Conducts Value Stream Mapping Workshops to identify critical losses in current processes and/or to define new ways of working. Develops gap analysis of results vs key metrics from a network perspective. Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders; supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning. Benchmarking & Collaboration Identifies best practices across our company to document and expand to different regions. Identifies best in class processes, technology, and practices across industries in Supply Chain, to further challenge our organization. Promotes and supports company policies, initiatives, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Works with the data science team to map key process metrics and provide automated visibility to divisions. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and 3 years’ experience in Process Improvement Microsoft Office Suite, analytical skills Process or Value Stream Simulation knowledge Demonstrated project ownership resulting in sustainable, long term savings Preferred Qualifications Process Improvement experience in a Total Performance Management (or related program) environment Six Sigma - Certification Physical Demands Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 56lbs Powered by JazzHR
